Castle Cornet - the venue for the Nautical Guernsey Vin D'Honeur

Special Powerboat Week Prices
The Culture and Leisure Department have kindly arranged to issue a special Powerboat Week pass for unlimited access to Castre Cornet - the best place to view the World Offshore Championship with full commentary. The Special Pass will cost £10 and will allow unlimited access from Monday 1st September to Sunday 7th September inclusive. Normal price is £6.50 per admission. The Special pass must be shown at the entrance or admission will not be permitted.

Tickets are available from Race Control, East Arm QEII marina and Castle Cornet.

Students and accompanied Children under 12 may enter free.

There is also a special Heritage Season ticket £20 pass for access to the 4 major attractions for a period of 12 months.

The event will be based on the East Arm of the QEII Marina. This is within walking distance of the lovely town of St Peter Port and its many fine restaurants.

Competitors are encouraged to go in to St Peter Port and expolore the whole of the Island when not racing.

There will be a marquee on the East Arm primarily for Race Administration and Official Briefings, although a drinks bar will be open in the afternoon and evening. The superb "Offshore Grill and Burger Bar" will be available from 5:30am onwards every day!

Karting

We are also planning a Karting morning on the Friday, probably starting at 11:30 for all the members of teams who are not out practicing. Time to do your own racing! 35mph speed limit - but not at the Track! http://www.kartingguernsey.co.uk/
